27 September, 2007 - Atkinson Pushes Green Buildings at Clinton AGM

At the invitation of former US President Bill Clinton, Maria Atkinson, Lend Lease Global Head of Sustainability, will tomorrow advocate ways to accelerate the push to green buildings at the 3rd Annual General Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York.

12 September, 2007 - Lend Lease Re-Affirmed as Global Sustainability Leader

Lend Lease has again been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World) for 2007/2008. DJSI World is used to evaluate investments worth over USD$5.6 billion each year.

22 March, 2007 - World leading carbon trading mechanism for buildings

Lend Lease and Origin Energy are developing a world leading mechanism that will enable the global property industry to measure and sell carbon credits achieved through energy efficiency measures included in buildings.

13 December, 2006 - Our Aspiration is to be a Sustainable Organisation - Lend Lease Waste Policy Position Statement Released

Bob Johnston, CEO of Project Management, Construction and PFI, today launches the Lend Lease Waste Policy on behalf of the Executive Management Team. "I am pleased to personally endorse this corporate commitment to practices that avoid, reduce and re-use waste. Waste minimisation reduces our environmental impact, it lessens the likelihood of accidents on sites and it also saves us money - it’s a truly sustainable business decision.”
